چکیده

[0.1] Questions about integers and primes It is easy to formulate questions about integers and primes, though not easy to distinguish those questions that have deeper meanings. More than 2000 years ago, contemporaries of Euclid knew that there are infinitely-many prime numbers. Quantifying the distribution of primes is still essentially an open question! Chebyshev (1848-50), Riemann (1857-8), Hadamard (1896), and de la Vallée-Poussin (1896) touched various aspects of the basic Prime Number Theorem

Simplest Equation Method for nonlinear solitary waves in Thomas- Fermi plasmas

The Thomas-Fermi (TF) equation has proved to beuseful for the treatment of many physical phenomena. In this pa-per, the traveling wave solutions of the KdV equation is investi-gated by the simplest equation method. Also, the effect of differentparameters on these solitary waves is considered. The numericalresults is conformed the good accuracy of presented method.

Third-Order Tensor Decompositions and Their Application in Quantum Chemistry

A tensor is a multidimensional array, where the order of tensor denotes the dimension of the array. For example, a scalar is simply an order-0 tensor, a vector order-1, a matrix order-2, and any tensor with order-3 or greater is described as a higher order tensor. For this paper I will be focusing on the simplest higher-order tensor, the order-3 tensor, which can be visualized as a sort of Rubi...

Small-world phenomena in physics: the Ising model

The Ising system with a small fraction of random long-range interactions is the simplest example of small-world phenomena in physics. Considering the latter both in an annealed and in a quenched state we conclude that: (a) the existence of random long-range interactions leads to a phase transition in the one-dimensional case and (b) there is a minimal average number p of these interactions per ...

Particle decay in Ising field theory with magnetic field 1 Gesualdo Delfino

The scaling limit of the two-dimensional Ising model in the plane of temperature and magnetic field defines a field theory which provides the simplest illustration of non-trivial phenomena such as spontaneous symmetry breaking and confinement. Here we discuss how Ising field theory also gives the simplest model for particle decay. The decay widths computed in this theory provide the obvious tes...

Introduction to Schramm-Loewner evolution and its application to critical systems

In this short review we look at recent advances in Schramm-Loewner Evolution (SLE) theory and its application to critical phenomena. The application of SLE goes beyond critical systems to other time dependent, scale invariant phenomena such as turbulence, sand-piles and watersheds. Through the use of SLE, the evolution of conformally invariant paths on the complex plane can be followed; hence a...
